Sending Email to Senior Management at the beginning of the month with the months holidays/events SOP

Instructions – Make a copy of this document and move it into your proper department process folder.  If you don’t have one, create one. 

Purpose #

The purpose is to give  advance notification to ensure organizational operations continue to run efficiently and smoothly  and to give Managers/Senior Management  more chances to plan ahead.


This is for the Managers/Senior Management  to plan accordingly .

  • Advance Notice –. is a notification given ahead of a certain event or to provide information to someone.

Step-by-step instructions

  • Step 1: 
    • Send an advance notice  a month or a week before the Holiday  via email to Andy and cc: Jonelle,Josh, Vince and Mel for scheduling purposes and attach the Holiday Schedule.
  • Step 2:
    • If the advance notice is approved by them, HR will draft a memo for review and approval.
  • Step 3: 
    • After Approval, HR will share the memo with the rest of the team so that department managers can plan ahead  especially scheduled meetings.
